How do you get paid?
Since SkipTheDrive’s responsibilities stop at providing you with job offers, then expect the payment to be handled by your potential employer. As explained earlier, job offers don’t usually give you any information regarding the pay, which is only natural because it is usually discussed during the next step of the job application process.

You will only know the details of the pay if you get to proceed to the interview phase. During this step, you can discuss how much you will be paid and the method of how you will get paid. Based on my experience, employers usually use a convenient payment method like bank transfer or PayPal when paying remote workers.

So, you can expect that the payment method that will be used will be relatively convenient. Plus, in my experience, you can negotiate the payment details with your employer, so getting paid will usually be the least of your worries.

Now, if you are interested in more sites that use a convenient payment method, I recommend you also check out the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer.

How much money can you make?
Since you will essentially be working full-time if you get hired, that means you’ll be earning a full-time income. So, to answer the question above, you’ll earn a pretty decent amount from any of the jobs offered on SkipTheDrive. The only real challenge you’ll encounter is landing the job, which is a different story, in my opinion.

Now, what mostly captured my attention while testing the site was that it lacked tools to help you land the job you want. Other online job board sites usually offer tools like resume builder or even career advice sessions to help their members.

It’s to be expected, though, since the site offers this service for free, which is why you can’t complain a lot about what it offers.

Can you use it on mobile?
SkipTheDrive doesn’t have a mobile app you can download, but the website is optimized for mobile use, so you can search for jobs even when you are not in front of the computer. However, if you will be applying for a job, I urge you to use your computer to avoid any mistakes.

It is, in my opinion, much more convenient to apply for a job using your computer because you’ll have to fill out a lot of forms and doing that on your mobile phone will be very hard and time-consuming. So, even though you can use it on mobile, it is only meant for computers, in my opinion.

Who can join SkipTheDrive?
As mentioned earlier, it doesn’t have a member dashboard you need to log in to view the job offers. You can just immediately search for it when you are on the home page, which is very convenient, in my opinion.

So, technically speaking, anybody can use SkipTheDrive. However, you must keep in mind that most job opportunities will require you to live in a certain country, like the US, for example. That’s why even though all the job opportunities on the site are for remote work, they’re still not for everyone.

So, don’t expect that you are eligible for all the job offers you will be interested in.

Can you get support?
If you have questions about the site, you can check out the FAQ section. It only discusses a few topics, so you won’t really find it helpful, in my opinion.

So, to resolve your concern, you must contact support instead. You can do so by going to the Contact page of the website and filling out the contact form. Overall, I would say it provides decent support to its users since it offers a convenient way for you to contact support.

Now, if your concern is about your application, you’ll have to contact your potential employer for that because SkipTheDrive will be of no help to you.
